Active System Menus can easily comply with the 2005
Food Pyramid by simply adding more Milks, Fruits and Vegetables.
This is done using the automatic menu spreading function that is unique to the
Active System. However,
this may lead to unnecessary waste, and it may overwhelm the residents.
Therefore, you have the option of adding instruction lines to each meal of the
menu which can be used to specify additional food items to be offered to all
residents at each meal. An example of such a menu is shown below.
Note that the instruction line, as well as the line in the grey box can be
edited and saved by the user in order to customize what you offer to your
residents.
